People!

People! Good news if you're interested in marketing! Here's an ebook on visibility for self-publishers, and it is FREE today. I don't know how long that will last, though. I'll put in the Amazon link, but I bet it's free on other retailers as well (only the ebook, though, not the paperback). So if you don't shop on Amazon, you could just look around. He also has a first book on self-pubbing, "Let's Get Digital." But you don't have to read them in order or both or anything. So here is "Let's Get Visible": https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00CPQ6YYI

Just a general note to let people know how much I enjoyed the course and how much I missed not having a live session yesterday! Strange how quickly things become routine, isn't it? Anyway, to everyone still working on their books, please share your progress - any proofreading needed I'll cast my eyes over it. And Keep on writing!

Dear all

Dear all, I am a bit late to catch everything within the course but I am trying to do my best I need your suggestions about: the easiest platform for formatting, how to deal with graphs and forms which are manually designed within word docs, which size is best for images and graphs and how to do with tables? my work is 50 % graphs and tables..

First trial, late but better than none

Hey you guys.

Hey you guys... I have an awesome deal for you! I know someone who is wishing to get started as a freelance proofreader (not editor; just a proofreader), and to build her portfolio she is looking for projects she could proofread for FREE. You can't beat that price! In return she'd want a testimonial from you. I've used her before (she actually volunteered to proofread one of the Wayzgoose Press books) and she caught stuff I'd missed. She's not an ELT teacher, but she is bilingual (Russian/English) so she 'gets' second language stuff. Her name is Julia Shtromberg and her email is Elfhippy@yandex.ru. I told her I'd mention her to this course, so if you contact her, just tell her you'r from Dorothy's publishing course.
