Can we, or perhaps how can we, incorporate languages like Korean into our books - if they don't work in Times New Roman? For instance, Korean.

For a paperback, no problem. For an ebook, I think Amazon at least does not support languages like Korean. If you have just a few sentences or something, maybe you could do them as images?
ReplyDeleteDorothy E. Zemach I'll experiment and see what happens, but every example I've ever seen (though there haven't been that many) where Korean is placed in a e-book as an image has been disastrous. :(
ReplyDeleteMy inclination is to have any Korean content on the companion website and leave this English only - unless I find a solution.
I agree - e-books just don't support two languages being used - a problem for those who want to include support and scaffolding for our students.
