Ahmed, you have done a lot of work on the content. I do like the presentation/quiz format, and the use of quizlet! However, some of your T/F quizzes seem to contain more of one than the other, leading to students detecting a pattern and then guessing the answer will be T all the way or F all the way.
ReplyDeleteTrust me, I've seen University physics students do that in tests.
Maybe rethink the pattern?
Ahmed Ra'ef, can you upload it again but with permission for people to add comments?
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of great content there, but in a format that won't work in an ebook. But I need to be able to comment on specific sections to show you where those places are. :)
ReplyDeleteLeonie Overbeek Thank you for your feedback, I am happy you like it. What do you suggest regarding T/F questions. I have reduced the number of activities to the minimum, I can replace it with a "Dictionary Use" task to give the chance to students to learn how to use the dictionary and to learn more about parts of speech.
ReplyDeleteDorothy E. Zemach Thank you Dorothy. I was worried about the format, so what do suggest regarding this issue? Do I need to reformat the word file in order to convert it into ebook?
ReplyDeleteDorothy E. Zemach Sorry about that, I have changed the permission into adding comments, Could you please try again? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxe91QH4L6aLeTZOSW5faHJQdlE/view?usp=sharing
ReplyDeleteYes, that worked. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAhmed - try not to make a pattern - I throw a dice, even number T, odd number false.
ReplyDeleteYou could also, instead of including a test, have an activity where students make up their own tests and use them on each. I've have success with that (though I wasn't working with students at this level)
ReplyDeleteWell done!
