Hi everyone, I'm Lindy, originally from the US (Texas), but currently living in Japan. I have experience with students from early childhood through higher ed. At the moment I'm the supervisor of a joint study abroad prep program between a US and a Japanese university, so I'm not in the classroom very much right now, but my context is higher ed upper intermediate to advanced students. We use a lot of in house publications in our program, and currently need to develop several new ones, so part of my motivation in taking this course is to get some new ideas for those. I'm also personally interested in curriculum development in general, and this seemed like a practical step to take in pursuing that. I'm excited to learn with and from all of you over the next month.

    Hi Lindy, it's good to meet you! Where do you live in Japan? I lived in Japan for 21 years - 19 years in Sapporo. I still miss it. Looking forward to learning together this month.

    Hi Lindy, In-house publications would be a great project for an ebook.

    Where do you live exactly? I was outside Osaka for a few years in Hyogo-ken (Nishinomiya).
